Welcome to Our School

Welcome! My name is Lisa T. I am the Center Director at Tutor Time Learning Academy in Charlotte, NC. I have been recognized by the North Carolina Division of Child Development as a highly experienced Level Three Administrator. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education Administration and a Master's in Leadership in Early childhood. I have 18 years of experience in early childhood education.

Our highly qualified teachers attend required early childhood training throughout the year. Our staff is certified in CPR, and first aid and our infant teachers have SIDS training; together, we have over 200 years of childcare experience.

Our Infant, Toddler, Two's, EPS, Preschool, Pre-Kindergarten and School-Age programs offer the best early education in the area. We provide technology in our Preschool, Pre-K, and School-Age classrooms! Our Pre-K class features a SMART Lab with experiences in Science, Technology, Engineering, The Arts, and Math. We have a Tumble room for our Toddlers. We also provide Before- and After-School care for area Elementary schools and offer flexible enrollment options to accommodate school and work schedules. Our exceptional curriculum, clean and safe environment, and a team of experienced professionals set us apart from other childcare centers in the area.

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Administration, Master's in Leadership in ECE

Certifications: Level 3 Administrator

My goal as the center director is to provide a safe, loving, educational environment for the families in our community. I am an experienced director and have over 18 years of experience. I believe children are incredibly special! I am thrilled to be a part of your children's development and assist in fostering their happiness and confidence.

I've always has a passion for working with children and I am excited about Tutor Time learning approach. There is nothing every child is not capable of achieving. I believe each child I may be educating could be the next doctor, lawyer, or president.
