Welcome to Our School

Welcome to Tutor Time of Brooklyn Park. We have recently relocated and we love our newly remodeled school. We are an early childhood education child care center. We serve families from Anoka, Dayton, Brooklyn Park, Champlin and other surrounding communities. At Tutor Time, we offer daycare for Infant and Toddler Care, Preschool, and Pre-Kindergarten, as well as School-Age care. Our Pre-Kindergarten program offers a rich learning environment to prepare each child for continuous learning!

We have an outstanding staff who is passionate, knowledgeable, and trained to meet all of your child's needs. Our school is nationally accredited by National Early Childhood Program Accreditation (NECPA). We are also proud to possess a 4-Star Parent Aware rating, which measures our commitment to the families we serve.

We’re committed to keeping you connected throughout the day while your child is in our care. Get access to live streaming video of your child’s classroom, plus other real-time updates, with our exclusive mobile app for families, SproutAbout.

We accept County Child Care Assistance, Think Small and Early Learning Scholarships, Family Alternatives Assistance, Child Care Aware of America and MCCYN. We also accept Back Up Care through Bright Horizons. Currently we bus to Oxbow Elementary, Champlin Brooklyn Academy (CBPA) and Edinbrook Elementary. Birch Grove Elementary will pick up and drop off here.

Stacey Baker, Director

Education: Degree in Elementary Education with a Minor in Early Childhood Education and Music

Certifications: CPR, First Aid, SUIDS, Abusive Head Trauma, Risk Reduction

I have been with Tutor Time since 2015, but have worked in the Early Childhood Education field for over 20 years. I love watching kids as they learn, grow and discover new things, every day. Mr. Rogers said, "For children, play is serious work." Within their play and work is where all the magic happens!

I have worked in the Early Childhood Education field since 2013. I have been a teacher of all ages and worn many hats. The School Education role is so important to me because I get the opportunity to coach teachers and share ideas. I am a very open-minded person and always loves to look at things for all sides. I love working with children and helping them grow.
