Welcome to Our School

Welcome to Tutor Time Learning Centers in Agoura Hills, CA! First opened in 1996, we specialize in Infant and Toddler Care, Preschool, Transitional Kindergarten & Elective Programs. My name is Danika, I am the School Director, and I have over 15 years in early childhood education. I have a strong background in early childhood development and an abundance of experience working with young children.

Our programs provide the perfect foundation for learning and development. Our teachers are child development majors and stay current with monthly training sessions and ongoing training offered by the state. We provide a private nursing room for our mothers who visit throughout the day, daily crib linen service, and include complimentary premium diapers, pull-ups, and wipes for children in our care. Our diapers are hypoallergenic, dye-free and chlorine-free (ECF)!

Activities throughout the year include: Parent's Nights Out, Summer/Spring/Winter Break Camps, Mozart & Canvas Club, Lego Engineering Club, Holiday Musical, Manners Tea Party, Mystery Readers, Yoga Class, Soccer League, Gymnastics Coach, Spanish Class, Fairy Gardening Club, Field Trips (K-11), PK Graduation Ceremony & SO MUCH MORE!

Danika King, Director

Education: Master of Arts in Educational Psychology and Counseling - ECE

Certifications: Director Permit, Infant Teacher Certified, CLASS Certified, Pediatric AED/First Aid/CPR, Mandated Reporter

I have over 14 years of experience working in Early Childhood Education. For as long as I can remember, it has been my passion to teach young children and watch them grow and learn foundational skills that prepares them for life ahead. I believe that Early Educators are one of the most important pillars in the development of young children. The joy I feel when seeing smiling faces makes each day just that much brighter. The children are our future!

Leslie Pineda , Assistant Director

Education: B.A. in Child and Adolescents Development

Certifications: Pediatric AED/First Aid/CPR, Mandated Reporter

I have been passionate about working with young children since I was little, the ultimate goal back then was to be a teacher! After high school I studied CADV at CSUN and occasionally take courses related to ECE at College of the Canyons. Throughout the last decade I have been lucky to have the opportunity to work with children in a variety of. All of my experiences led me to my home here at Tutor Time! I began my career here in 2020 as a School Age Teacher, and now Assistant Director!

Education: BA in CADV

Certifications: CPR/AED First Aid and BLS

My goal in life has always been to become a teacher. I remember back in elementary school when my teacher would ask, “what do you want to be when you grow up,” and my answer was always a teacher. My true passion is working with young children and watching them grow. Knowing that I have a hand in their growth and development gives me pure joy. I have 10 plus years working with children of all ages. I graduated from CSUN with my BA in CADV and I am working on My MA in elementary education.
